Fredericksburg

Was in Fredericksburg, VA not too long ago and stopped by some of the historic sites, Civil War battlefields and monuments that abound there.

Rheinsteig

I had the opportunity, thanks to a good friend, to walk along part of the Rheinsteig near Frankfurt, Germany. The trail is set along the Rhein river and has some amazing scenery, not the least of which are some impressive castles.

Val Dieu

While driving around the backwoods of Belgium one night I ran across a large church seemingly in the middle of nowhere. Turned out it was an old abbey that has been recently converted into a brewery. Went back to visit it during the day with some friends and took a few photos while sampling what the monks had been making there for last 800 years. Check them out here.

Battice

Spent a few hours walking around the town of Battice and brought along my camera.

Parc des Oblats

Just outside of Liege, Belgium is a place called 'Parc des Oblats'. I paid it a visit and it was certainly different from every other park I can recall. The photos will tell the story better.
